the eighth episode of car and driver's window shop with us youtube series focuses on what cars our editors would buy if they inherited $40,000. we asked our editors to find and present a collection of vehicles that fit their individual personalities and tastes. the challenge assumes each of us already own a daily driver, which allows our editors to choose some particularly questionably reliable options.
there's a wide variety of cars featured in this episode, ranging from a "museum quality" 1993 lexus ls400 to family-friendly adventure mobiles such as a mitsubishi delica imported from japan. we also found what is perhaps the world's cleanest daihatsu rocky and a pair of fox-body ford mustangs in varying levels of preservation. don't worry, there are good ol' fashioned sports cars and sports sedans represented here as well, but this video is proof that no one's ideal automotive collection is exactly the same.
