• The results are in, and it appears as though the readers also had a difficult time deciding: CL1CKB8 won by the narrowest of margins.

Breaking news out of C/D's Ann Arbor headquarters this afternoon: CL1CKB8 has been chosen as the vanity plate for our new Tesla Model 3 long-term test car. Leading CAR AND by 51 to 49 percent, it was a close race, but ultimately CL1CKB8 clinched the win.

Our Editor-in-Chief has submitted the request for the plate, and we're expecting it to arrive just in time for the car's next photo shoot. We were asked by a number of readers what our other suggestions were, so we're happy to present the list in its entirety below.

Some are snarky, some are completely indecipherable, and some are inside jokes that only those in our office would understand.
