The automaker released a teaser image today that shows the new version wearing the same sleek profile of the current model, but it also hints at the new one's more chiseled styling. Hyundai stayed mum on all other details except to announce a sampling of the new Santa Fe's list of safety systems. The forthcoming model will feature the Smart Sense safety package, which bundles features like the Rear Occupant Alert monitor and rear cross-traffic collision warning with automatic braking.

The Santa Fe is the automaker's top-selling SUV and got some upgrades for 2017; it carries over with only minor changes for 2018. The new Santa Fe will make its world premiere in February and hit the stage in March at the Geneva International Motor Show. Check back then for more.
