- buick has announced pricing for the redesigned 2021 envision crossover.
- it starts at $32,995 for the preferred trim level, a significant drop from last year's base price.
- the new envision will go on sale early in 2021, buick says.
despite a more attractive design and a significantly more powerful base engine, the new 2021 buick envision is cheaper than its predecessor. the base price for the redesigned model has dropped $1700 to $32,995, and higher trim levels are more affordable than before, too.
while the previous envision came standard with a 197-hp naturally aspirated 2.5-liter inline-four and offered a 252-hp turbo-four as an upgrade, a 230-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four is standard across the board in the 2021 model. the base preferred trim starts at $32,995 and has front-wheel drive; all-wheel drive is an $1800 option on all trims. one step up from the preferred is the essence, which starts at $36,995. that's a $495 drop from last year's essence.
the envision's top trim is now called avenir, and it starts at $41,395. with the optional all-wheel drive and extras including adaptive dampers, a panoramic sunroof, and several driver-assistance systems, a fully loaded envision avenir tops out at just over $47,000.
buick says the 2021 envision will be reaching dealerships early next year.
