    ford is partnering with actor idris elba for the launch of the automaker's first fully electric crossover, said to be inspired by the iconic mustang. elba will appear in promotional materials as part of a "creative partnership" for the new model after it debuts november 17. a teaser photo shows elba walking among a field of historic mustangs including a current-generation mustang bullitt, an original mustang mach 1, and a first-generation mustang fastback.

"it's [ford] practically in my blood," elba said in a statement.
