A Mercedes-Benz Pickup Truck? X-Class Unveiled

Mercedes-Benz — noted manufacturer of vehicles with fragrance dispensers and leather interiors so fancy the name for the option eschews capital letters — just unveiled its first pickup truck. Called the X-Class, the mid-size truck was revealed at an event in Cape Town, South Africa.



The truck shares a platform with the new Nissan Navara and, like the Navara, there are no plans at this time to sell the X-Class in the U.S. Given the likelihood that the Navara will be brought here as the new Nissan Frontier, however, there's an outside chance.
