approximately 6,300 model-year 2018 lexus ls 500 sedans and ls 500h hybrids equipped with run-flat tires

the problem: the tires were assembled to the wheels improperly and there's a possibility that a crack could develop on the sidewall reinforcement layer of the tires. under certain driving conditions, portions of the tread layer could separate, reducing stability and increasing the risk of a crash.

the fix: dealers will replace all four tires for free if one or more run-flat tires are manufactured by a specific supplier.
