Inside, there's a ton of passenger space; taller adults will have no problem fitting in the second row and even the third row. The cabin is similar to what's in the F-150 pickup truck on which the Expedition is based, so like in the truck, there are tons of storage spaces, from small cubbies to larger storage wells. The cargo area behind the third row is also cavernous, and the second- and third-row seats go down with ease for loads more cargo room.

Another highlight of the interior is Ford's Sync3 multimedia system; it's very easy to use. The Expedition's climate controls, however, look and feel flimsy.

The Expedition's truck-based roots show themselves on the road, with a lot of shimmy and bounce over bumps. The turbocharged V-6 Used Engine , however, is a delight — there's power to spare thanks in part to a slick and smooth 10-speed automatic transmission.
