approximately 115,000 model-year 2006-13 lexus is 350 convertibles and model-year 2010-14 is 350c sedans, and model-year 2007-11 gs 350 sedans and gs 450 hybrid sedans, all equipped with a 3.5-liter gas v-6

the problem: the diaphragm material in the fuel pulsation dampers in this used engine may harden over time and crack, causing fuel to leak, which in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

the fix: dealers will replace the fuel delivery pipe with a new one containing improved pulsation dampers for free.
