Outside, it was painted in Summit White and featured roof rails as part of the Sun & Infotainment Package. Our Equinox was powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder Used Engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Inside, black and gray cloth covered the seating areas. The Chevrolet MyLink system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities featured an 8-inch screen as another part of the optional Sun & Infotainment Package. A power moonroof, color driver's information display, two front USB ports and two rear USB charge-only ports round out that option package, which cost $1,995. The other options group on our tester Equinox was the Confidence & Convenience Package, which cost a cool $1,945. This added a power liftgate, heated front seats, remote start, dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and three important safety features: blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking assist.
