Fifty is a golden anniversary, but Subaru is celebrating its time in the U.S. with a very special shade of blue. At the 2018 Chicago Auto Show, the automaker launched a special 50th-anniversary edition of every vehicle in its 2018 lineup.

Based on a higher trim level of each model, the anniversary editions are clad in exclusive Heritage Blue paint and wear special trim finishes, badging and interior accents.
Outside, all but the BRZ get special alloy wheels, and all but the BRZ, WRX and WRX STI have a satin chrome finish on the side mirrors. Inside, the cabins are black with silver contrast stitching, matching the silver seat belts and the 50th Anniversary logo embroidered on the front seats and carpet floormats.
Subaru will limit production to just 1,050 each of the Crosstrek, Forester, Impreza, Legacy and Outback, and there will be a combined 1,050 of the WRX, WRX STI and BRZ; they're on sale now.
