even this price increase doesn't make the murano the most expensive suv in its class, at least when it comes to starting cost. the 2019 jeep grand cherokee starts at $33,190, including a destination charge. competitors like the ford edge and chevrolet blazer have lower starting prices of $30,990 and $29,995, respectively.
