Mercedes Still Sandbagging on 2019 G-Class Reveal in Latest Tease
2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class

Ahead of its official reveal at the 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, here's another look at small sections of the new 2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class, this time "camouflaged" by sand. The last time Mercedes-Benz teased the G-Class, most of the vehicle was hidden by snow. Seriously, though, everything we've seen of the G-Class thus far indicates that the chief improvements to the car were under the skin and in the cabin. After all, it worked for the Jeep Wrangler, the other iconic off-roader to be redesigned recently.

Pricing remains a mystery, as do available Used Engine and their power figures. The G-Wagen will be officially revealed in all its boxy glory next week in Detroit, but there are leaked images out there already and — to break automotive journalist kayfabe for a second — the camouflage did very little to hide the actual lines of the SUV ... probably because they're mostly very straight lines.
