exotic sports car enthusiasts be warned: the national highway traffic safety administration is recalling a grand total of 62 model-year 2018 maserati quattroporte and ghibli sedans and levante suvs for faulty welds. according to nhtsa, welds on the sub-frame could break, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle. sixty-two cars may not sound like a lot, but by automotive news' count, it represents nearly 7 percent of all maseratis sold in the u.s. in may — for comparison, 7 percent of all fords sold last month would represent more than 16,000 vehicles.
