if you've spent any amount of time on twitter lately, you've likely seen many attempts at the #inmyfeelings challenge. for those of you who haven't bought into the news-and-entertainment quality of twitter, the challenge is all based upon dancing to the song "in my feelings" off of artist drake's new album, "scorpion." oh yeah, and the dancing happens alongside a moving car ... a moving car that you exit while it's moving ... and re-enter once you're done.
if you think that sounds stupid, it probably just means you're out of the loop and can't understand that this is the best challenge twitter has ever hatched. the #cinnamonchallenge left thousands coughing on camera and the #condomchallenge had teens dropping water-filled prophylactic devices on each other's heads. at least the #inmyfeelings challenge is fun to watch with a little bit of excitement courtesy of the imminent threat of serious bodily harm to yourself and those around you!
but those sticks in the mud over at the national transportation safety board are trying to put an end to this viral phenomenon — for some reason, they think that exiting a moving car, leaving it without a driver and dancing in the road is, like, a bad idea or something.

"motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death in the u.s.," said nicholas worrell, chief of safety advocacy at the national transportation safety board, in an interview with website the blast. "hopping out of a moving vehicle or jumping into lanes of traffic to show your dance moves is foolish and dangerous — to you and those around you."
oh, c'mon! what could go wrong? i mean, what are the chances you get hit by a car like this guy? or step out of the door when the car is moving too fast?
if by now you haven't been able to come to your own conclusion that the #inmyfeelings challenge is a dumb and unsafe move, maybe you didn't pick up on our sarcastic hints that definitely does not endorse it. in short: don't do it.
if you're just dying to show off your drake moves, there's no harm in doing one dance next to your parked car in your driveway at home - just don't expect to go viral anytime soon.
