Clad in Volkswagen's signature auto-show yellow-gold paint — it looks a lot like the Kurkuma Yellow Metallic available on our Best Of 2018 Volkswagen Atlas — the sedan shares a similar silhouette and dimensions to its sibling Audi A5 Sportback, as well as a rear liftback for access to a larger cargo area.

The Arteon seats five passengers, and it includes standard features like push-button start and an 8-inch multimedia system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Standard safety features for the Arteon include a backup camera and forward autonomous braking; adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and an around-view camera are among the optional safety equipment.

The 2019 Volkswagen Arteon should arrive in dealerships sometime in the summer of 2018. Stay tuned for more information including pricing and driving impressions as its on-sale date approaches.
