outside, the biggest change is to the altima's face. it wears a larger, more aggressive version of the brand's v-motion grille. inside, nissan lowered the dashboard, which makes the front feel more airy and spacious. the standard 8-inch touchscreen also has been raised for better visibility.
all-wheel-drive availability is big news this year, and there's also a new used engine . under the hood, the v-6 is gone for 2019, replaced by a 248-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder; base versions will use a 188-hp, 2.5-liter four-cylinder. although it has the same displacement as last year's used engine , nissan says it features 80 percent new parts and a small bump in power. both used engine come mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission.
