Following the unveiling of the refreshed 2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan and wagon at the 2018 Geneva Auto Show, the 2019 C-Class C300, C300 4Matic, and Mercedes-AMG C43 4Matic Cabriolet and Coupe are scheduled to debut at the upcoming 2018 New York Auto Show. Mercedes' newest products, such as the recently redesigned E-Class, have quickly become some of our favorite vehicles in their respective classes, so we have high hopes for the updates to the C-Class family.

There won't be any surprises for readers who know about the updates to the sedan, such as tweaks to the exterior appearance and new interior trim options. Its updated technology suite includes an optional fully digital gauge cluster and a larger infotainment screen, more semiautonomous technology (a trickle down from the latest S-Class), and a slight bump to the power output from both the C300's 2.0-liter four-cylinder and the AMG C43's 3.0-liter six-cylinder.

Beyond the design tweaks, all two-door 2019 C-Class models will come standard with LED headlights and taillights. On the inside, you'll find a 10.3-inch infotainment display that now comes standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The leather-wrapped steering wheel now features touch-sensitive buttons, and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster is an optional extra.

The C300 receives an increase of 14 horsepower, coming to a total of 255 hp, while the AMG C43 goes up 23 hp to 385 hp. That bump knocks a tenth of a second off the AMG's claimed 0-60 mph time, dropping it to 4.5 seconds.
