2017-2018 Aston Martin DB11: Recall Alert
2017 Aston Martin DB11

Vehicles Affected: Approximately 1,000 model-year 2017-18 Aston Martin DB11 luxury coupes equipped with either V-8 or V-12 Used Engine

The Problem: The driver's frontal airbag may unexpectedly deploy due to insufficient grounding of the steering components if an electrostatic discharge occurs and the airbag clockspring is broken, increasing the risk of an injury and a crash.

The Fix: Dealers will add sufficient grounding to the steering components for free.

What Owners Should Do: Aston Martin will begin notifying owners on March 1. Owners can call the automaker at 888-923-9988 or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit www.safercar.gov to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
