the problem: water may accumulate inside the rear lower control arms, potentially subjecting them to corrosion and fracture, which could result in compromised driver control and a crash or injury.

jeep manufacturer fiat chrysler automobiles said it is aware of a single potentially related accident but no related injuries.

the fix: dealers will replace the rear lower control arms for free.
